Centralized settings adjustment allows you to configure main Dr.Web settings and settings of all its components except Scanner. 
To configure main settings 
| 1. | Click the SpIDer Agent icon   in the Windows notification area. |  
 | 2. | Select Tools and then select Settings. A settings window opens on the Main tab that contain the following pages: |  
 | • | The Notifications page, where you can configure Dr.Web notification settings. |  
 | • | The Update page, where you can configure settings of Dr.Web virus databases and components updating. |  
 | • | The Anti-virus Network page, where you can configure Dr.Web operation as part of an anti-virus network. |  
 | • | The Preventive Protection page, where you can enable background scanning for rootkits and configure control of actions that may compromise security of your computer. |  
 | • | The Dr.Web Cloud page, where you can connect to Doctor Web cloud services. |  
 | • | The Report page, where you can configure event logging for Dr.Web components. |  
 | • | The Quarantine page, where you can configure Quarantine  that serves for isolation of infected and suspicious files. |  
 | • | The Proxy Server page, where you can configure Internet connection parameters for Dr.Web components. |  
 | • | The Language page, where you can select the language to use in the interface. |  
 | • | The Self-protection page, where you can configure additional security settings. |  
 | • | The Restore page, where you can configure import and export of Dr.Web settings and restore their default values. |  
 | 3. | Configure required settings. For information on settings in the sections, click Help. |
