SpIDer Agent provides you with the mail SpIDer Guard management and configuration features. The default settings are optimal for most uses. Do not change them unnecessarily.
To configure SpIDer Guard
| 1. | Click the SpIDer Agent icon  in the notification area, select SpIDer Guard, and then select Settings. The SpIDer Guard tab of the settings window opens that contains the following pages: |
| • | The Scanning page, where you select a scan mode for files and processes. |
| • | The Actions page, where you can configure reactions of SpIDer Guard to various virus events. |
| • | The Exclusions page, where you can configure folders and files to be excluded from SpIDer Guard checks. |
| 2. | Configure options as necessary. To get information on options in the page, click Help. |
| 3. | After editing, click OK to save the changes or Cancel to cancel them. |
