SpIDer Agent settings are not available in User mode. |
To configure general Dr.Web settings
| 1. | Click the SpIDer Agent icon  in the notification area, select Tools, and then select Settings. A window open that contains the following pages: |
| • | The Dr.Web Settings page, where you can set general options and configure notifications from Dr.Web components |
| • | The Components page, where you can select Dr.Web components to run automatically when operating system starts |
| • | The Update Page, where you can set parameters for Dr.Web virus databases and components updating |
| • | The Advanced page, where you can specify self-protection parameters and disable miscellaneous operations that may compromise security of your computer |
| 2. | Configure options as necessary. To get information on options in the page, click Help  . |
| 3. | After editing, click OK to save the changes or Cancel to cancel them. |
