The operation of Dr.Web is based on the 7 following services: •—supports the distributed application components management system, controls and analyzes the modules functionality. This service supports the application components settings database, the incidents database and controls the statistics of components parameters. •—has a built-in server providing the use of administrative consoles via an internet browser. •—instantiates all additional application components requested during its operation. •—prepares objects intercepted by application filters to the anti-virus scanning, processes the scanning results. •—supports the asynchronous requests queue of application tasks, that allow postponing their run. •—contains the Dr.Web scanning engine. •—controls the operation of the applications based on the CMS platform and restarts the main services. Dr.Web Scanning Engine, Dr.Web CMS and Dr.Web SSM services are started on completion of the application installation. Other services start when the application operation requires their start. Restarting the services If all the services are running, restart them as instructed below. To restart the services 1.Open the window. 2.Select service, right-click the service in the list and then click . 3.Confirm the restart of all the dependent services in the window. 4.Wait until the services restart is complete. If service errors occur after restarting, restart manually all the available services in a specific order. Stop the dependent services manually in the following order: 1.Dr.Web SSM, 2.Dr.Web for MSP Scanning Service, 3.Dr.Web for MSP Requests Queue, 4.Dr.Web for MSP Component Host, 5.Dr.Web CMS Web Console. Restart the services in the reverse order. Start the dependent services manually in the following order: 1.Dr.Web CMS Web Console, 2.Dr.Web for MSP Component Host, 3.Dr.Web for MSP Requests Queue, 4.Dr.Web for MSP Scanning Service, 5.Dr.Web SSM. |
