Obtaining Key File

Dr.Web Updater displays information on the registration process in the Status field.

If the key file is received successfully, Dr.Web Updater provides you with information on its location. Click Finish to update the Dr.Web virus databases and Dr.Web components. Usually, this procedure does not require your active participation.

If obtaining a key file fails, Dr.Web Updater provides you with information on the error in the Status field and displays the settings window where you can configure connection to the Internet and updater server.
