Main program components (anti-virus engine and virus databases) are not only highly effective and resource-sparing, but also cross-platform, which lets Doctor Web specialists create reliable anti-virus solutions protecting computers and mobile devices under popular operating systems from threats that target different platforms. Currently, along with Dr.Web for Linux, Doctor Web offers anti-virus solutions for UNIX-based operating systems (such as FreeBSD and Solaris), IBM OS/2, Novell NetWare, macOS and Windows.
