Chapter 9: Updating Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite Software and Its Components

This chapter describes the update of Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite components that is performed during the product operation and cannot be used to upgrade to a new version.

Upgrade of the product and its components to a new version is described in the Installation Manual, in the Chapter 6: Upgrading Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite Software and Its Components section.

Before updating Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite and its components, it is strongly recommended to ensure the validity of the TCP/IP protocol settings to provide the Internet connection. Particularly, the DNS service must be enabled and properly configured.

 

Before updating the software it is recommended configure the repository including access to Dr.Web GUS (see General Repository Configuration).
