Conventions

The table below contains conventions list that are used in the Manual.

A term in the position of a definition or a link to a definition.

Cancel

Names of buttons, windows, menu items and other program interface elements.

Keyboard keys names.

Cross-references or internal hyperlinks to web pages.

Abbreviations

The following abbreviations will be used in the Manual without further interpretation:

ACL—Access Control List,

CDN—Content Delivery Anti-virus network,

CPU—Central Processing Unit,

DB, DBMS—Database, Database Management System,

DFS—Distributed File System,

DNS—Domain Name System,

Dr.Web GUS—Dr.Web Global Update System,

GUI—Graphical User Interface, a GUI version of a program—a version using a GUI,

LAN—Local Area Network,

MTU—Maximum Transmission Unit,

NAP—Network Access Protection,

OS—operating system,

TTL—Time To Live,

UDS—UNIX domain socket.
